Lansing Terminal and Fleet receives MVPP Star award

Detroit,Congratulations to the Lansing Terminal and Fleet for receiving the Michigan Voluntary Protection Program (MVPP) Star award from the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) for workplace safety and health excellence. MPC is the first company in Lansing, Michigan, to receive MIOSHA’s highest recognition for workplace safety and health.
MIOSHA Consultation Education and Training (CET) Director Nella Davis-Ray presented the MVPP Star Award plaque and flag to the Lansing Terminal and Fleet staff in a celebration ceremony held at the facility on Sept. 6.
“MIOSHA is proud to recognize Marathon Petroleum’s Lansing Terminal and Fleet for establishing a company culture that promotes excellence in workplace safety and health,” said Davis-Ray. “Implementing best practices for increased employee safety and preventing accidents exemplifies a true commitment to safety among management and staff at this facility.”
