The road to innovation, connection and opportunity ran straight through Indianapolis this April, as Marathon Petroleum Corporation’s (MPC) retail brands, Marathon and ARCO, made an exciting return to the Midwest’s premier energy and convenience tradeshow, M-PACT 2025.

Held at the Indiana Convention Center, the three-day event brought together industry leaders from Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and beyond. More than 300 exhibitors, including MPC, showcased the latest technologies, products and services alongside a jam-packed lineup of educational sessions and networking events designed to drive business and career growth.

The Marathon I ARCO team engages with tradeshow attendees at the 2025 M-PACT event in Indianapolis. Once again, Marathon’s booth and display were a highlight of the show.

As a Platinum Sponsor, MPC once again took center stage, spotlighting the strength, value and forward-thinking approach of its retail brands. From one-on-one conversations to an eye-catching dual-branded booth, Marathon and ARCO were hard to miss on the tradeshow floor.

“Marathon’s strong presence at M-PACT was a true team effort, driven by collaboration across our entire team,” said Amber Metzgar, MPC’s Brand Marketing Director. “From sponsorship and brand management to our territory managers and the rest of the commercial sales team, everyone played a role in making this event a success.”

M-PACT’s Cathy Melton and the Executive Director of the Indiana Food & Fuel Association (IFFA) presented Marathon Petroleum with the IFFA President’s Council Award, recognizing 15 years of membership. Accepting the award on behalf of the team were (from left to right) Bob Kamphaus, Jason Schwartz, Dave Skowronek and Jordyn Taylor.

“Their continued support brings leadership to the tradeshow floor and reinforces their commitment to our industry and the retailers who keep the Midwest moving.”

Metzgar added that M-PACT is a highlight event for the Brand organization each year, helping to strengthen connections with both new and longtime retail partners. “It’s where we connect directly with retailers, share what’s new and hear firsthand how we can continue delivering what matters most,” she said.

Now in its 23rd year, M-PACT remains a reliable, high-impact stop early in the year for Marathon’s retail brand team as they kick off a busy tradeshow season. Metzgar said that staying power reflects the event’s continued relevance and that, all these years later, it is still considered the heartbeat of energy and convenience networking across the region.

“Marathon Petroleum has been a trusted and valued partner of M-PACT for many years,” said Cathy Melton, Executive Director of the Indiana Food & Fuel Association, one of the partners behind M-PACT. “Their continued support brings leadership to the tradeshow floor and reinforces their commitment to our industry and the retailers who keep the Midwest moving.”
