Marathon Petroleum hosted a non-profit fair at its headquarters in Findlay, Ohio, to further connect employees with opportunities to give back. More than 250 employees attended the outdoor fair featuring more than a dozen service organizations from across the Findlay-Hancock County area.
“We know our employees are passionate about making a positive impact on our community through volunteerism,” said Ashley Goecke, Community Investment Specialist at Marathon Petroleum. “Events like the non-profit fair give those in attendance a chance to learn more about the difference they’re making in the community and the types of volunteer opportunities available throughout the year.”
Organizations in attendance:
Children’s Mentoring Connection of Hancock County (CMC)
FOCUS: Recovery and Wellness Community
Open Arms Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Services
Women’s Resource Center of Hancock County
Recently, employees from the Findlay campus topped 12,500 total volunteer hours so far in 2021. To further our community investments, Marathon matches employee donations of time and money to eligible nonprofit organizations.
