This week, a Marathon Petroleum Corporation subsidiary and its local distributor Almacenes Distribuidores de la Frontera, owner of the Petrol gas stations, as well as the convenience stores DelRio and Superette, have opened the first of a series of ARCO® stations in Ciudad Juárez in the state of Chihuahua. Petrol currently has 13 stations in operation and with more than 15 years of presence in the market.

Marathon Petroleum also intends to grow the ARCO® brand through supply contracts with qualified independent owners and operators of existing and new gas stations that are interested in marketing fuel under the ARCO® brand.

All ARCO® fueling stations in Mexico offer consumers TOP TIER™ gasoline. The Chihuahua area stations receive fuel which is trucked directly from Marathon Petroleum’s refinery in El Paso, Texas. The ARCO® brand is known for its high-quality TOP TIER™ gasoline offering and superior filling experience.
