The MPCgives 2023 Gala hit a high note for Marathon Center for the Performing Arts (MCPA) at the private concert and networking event held in Findlay, Ohio, in September.
With the support of MPC’s generous business partners and the local community, the gala brought nearly 100 sponsors together to support MCPA’s longstanding commitment to provide the local community with art education and appreciation of arts. Over the years, this event has raised an estimated $3 million.
Nearly 700 sponsors, donors and MPC employees attended the event to raise funds and awareness for MCPA. The evening of entertainment included dinner at various local Findlay restaurants, a feature performance by multi-Grammy and Billboard Award winning band, Train, and an afterparty hosted on MPC’s Findlay campus.
“At MPC, our community investment strategy is centered around strengthening communities and helping make people's lives better,” said Maryann Mannen, EVP and CFO at Marathon Petroleum. “Studies show communities with access to local arts and culture boosts connection to the community both in feeling and in action. We’re proud to support the role MCPA has played in creating a thriving community.”
The MPCgives Gala raised money for MCPA’s endowment fund, which enables growth of local arts programming and ensures longevity of MCPA’s mission and commitment to the Findlay community.
A special thank you to the sponsors and the many volunteers who contributed to this event’s success.
