Crawford County Illinois recently celebrated National Night Out.
Men and women from local Fire and Rescue squads greeted over 400 community members, answered questions, showcased rescue trucks and equipment, and distributed safety information. Additionally, the Police Department and City of Robinson provided a cookout, bounce houses, and safety related items for the home.
IRD represented its Emergency Response Team with one of its fire trucks while HR representatives passed out flashlights to children in attendance.
April Kesling, HR consultant, stated, “It was great to see Marathon and surrounding Emergency Response Teams hold an event like this to raise awareness and get the local community involved in their efforts.”
