Employees from Marathon Petroleum’s Direct Dealer and Brand teams volunteered to help bring added energy to a Los Angeles Dodgers Foundations (LADF) Dreamteam event in Long Beach, California, connecting with families and supporting a program rooted in youth development and community resources.

Team members staffed an ARCO-branded booth and distributed giveaways to families as steady lines formed throughout the day. The volunteer activity supported the LADF’s Dodgers Dreamteam program, which creates inclusive opportunities for young people while connecting participants and their families with resources that support healthier outcomes.

“I really enjoyed volunteering with Dodgers Dreamteam, because this program takes place right in my neighborhood, where my kids are growing up,” said Danielle Russell, Senior Franchise Business Consultant for ARCO ampm. “Being able to support a program that means so much to our community made the experience especially meaningful. I appreciate that ARCO invests in programs like this and supports the communities we serve.”

While baseball and softball are part of the program, Dodgers Dreamteam extends beyond the field by offering access to basic necessities, education and health resources, positive role models, and opportunities for youth to build confidence and social-emotional skills.
