The 18th Annual Marathon Petroleum Charity Golf Outing took place July 29-31, at the Findlay Country Club in Ohio. A total of 185 companies supported the outing with sponsorships, on-course cooking, donations of items used during the event and golfers. Together, more than $750,000 was raised in three days for the Marathon Petroleum Foundation.

Hancock Hotel was the backdrop to a reception held the evening after the first round of golf. Approximately 280 participants represented more than 100 companies at the reception. During the reception, Don Templin, executive vice president and CFO, and Michael Gebhardt, Supply Chain vice president, gave welcoming remarks to thank the suppliers for their participation and support.

Funds raised will be utilized by the Marathon Petroleum Foundation, whose mission is to collaborate with stakeholders to positively impact the communities in which MPC operates through strategic investments that create measurable, lasting and sustainable values, and enhance the company’s reputation.
