Through generous donations from customers, vendor partners and employees, Speedway LLC raised $10.3 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in 2017.

A corporate partner of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals since 1991, Speedway has raised more than $100 million over the past 26 years for the charity through a variety of fundraising activities. The majority of funds are collected through year-round canister campaigns in each store. Speedway also hosts one of the largest annual golf fundraising tournaments benefitting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. To raise awareness of the ongoing needs of children’s hospitals, Speedway organizes the Miracle Children Program, where patients from locally supported hospitals are able to share their stories with their local communities. The firsthand experiences bring a personal touch to the cause and highlight the importance of donations to fund critical treatments and services.

“Surpassing $100 million is a tremendous source of pride for our employees,” said Speedway President Tony Kenney. “The unwavering dedication of our employees and the generosity of our customers and vendors truly make a difference in the lives of the kids and their families. It is an honor and a privilege to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in the communities where we live and operate.”

“We are so grateful for the amazing support Speedway’s customers and employees extend to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals each year,” said John Lauck, president and CEO of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. “We are in awe of Speedway’s level of commitment to supporting children’s hospitals and the Miracle Children in their communities. Speedway has surpassed $100 million in contributions for sick and injured kids and its partners like them that allow us to provide more valuable resources to our hospitals.”

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals raises funds and awareness for 170-member hospitals that treat more than 10 million kids each year. A donation made at a local Speedway directly supports the member hospital serving that community.
