The Law Organization's mission is to provide professional, practical, timely and cost-effective legal services to all of its components. The Law Organization abides by the highest professional responsibility standards and legal ethics. Areas of potential specialization include: Litigation, Operations, Tax, Environmental Safety and Security and Human Resources/Labor Relations.

Projects may include but are not limited to:

Legal Intern and Paralegal:

• Collecting information for use by in-house and outside counsel
• Drafting responses to administrative agencies
• Creating persuasive position statements on legal issues or fact situations
• Researching and analyzing legal issues

Internal Counsel:

• Conducting legal research, reviewing and negotiating contracts and real property documents
• Formulating discovery requests, responding to opponent's discovery requests and managing outside counsel and evaluating litigation and claims
• Analyzing new transactional tax legislation and providing transactional tax compliance support and advisory services
• Conducting preventive law and keeping company personnel abreast of significant legislation, regulations and case law development

Internships available for: Summer

Basic Qualifications:

• Paralegal studies or Juris Doctorate with license to practice law
• 3.0 minimum overall GPA
• Potential Hiring Location:
