Off Gas

Marathon Petroleum Company LP (MPC LP) produces off gas at all six refineries. Off gas is primarily used as fuel within the refinery.  Off gas typically contains a mixture of methane, ethane, ethylene, propane, propylene and butane.

Off gas is sold at Garyville, LA and Texas City, TX.

Transportation
Off gas is shipped via pipeline from two facilities.
