In addition to Marathon's prominent Brand presence, the Company also is one of the largest wholesale (unbranded) suppliers of gasolines and distillates to resellers and consumers end-users within its 21 state market area. Independent retailers, unbranded jobbers, airlines, transportation companies, railroads, marine companies and utilities comprise the core of Marathon's costomer base. Sales are currently made at 65 equity and 70 exchange/throughput terminals throughout 21 states.
