MPC believes good corporate citizenship includes leveraging key external partnerships and is integral to our business success in the communities where we live and work.

Supplier Diversity Program

Building a diverse supplier base that is reflective of the communities where we operate is part of MPC’s business strategy. Memberships in the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) and the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and their local agencies assist in creating mutually beneficial partnerships with minority and women-owned businesses in the U.S.

Corporate Diversity Partnerships

MPC’s Diversity Office partners with both local and national organizations including the NAACP, the National Urban League, and La Raza.

MPC also tries to be an active partner in every community where it operates. Through both the Diversity Teams active at all of MPC’s major locations and other corporate initiatives, our workforce engages local civic and community organizations to assist with a wide variety of civic, health and educational programs. This involvement helps makes our communities stronger.

We also leverage partnerships with higher educational institutions in order to help increase a diverse pool of talent for both MPC and the industry.
