Donald W. Wehrly

Mr. Wehrly is vice president and chief information officer of Marathon Petroleum Corporation. He serves on the board of the north central chapter of the American Red Cross. He is an active member of Trail Life USA, and formed and currently serves as the Trail Master of Troop 412, based in Findlay, Ohio.
Mr. Wehrly joined Marathon as an associate programmer in 1981. He served in various information technology positions until 1988, when he was named as a supervisor of IT. In the early and mid-1990s, Mr. Wehrly held several supervisory roles with Marathon’s IT organization, including positions in Syria and Tunisia. In 1997, he was named manager of Upstream Computing, and was appointed the manager of IT Strategy and Planning in 2000. Mr. Wehrly became manager of IT Services for Marathon Ashland Petroleum1 in 2003, and was named to his current position in 2011.
Mr. Wehrly graduated with a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Taylor University in 1981. In 2013, he attended the Northwestern University’s Advanced Executive Program.
